Policy and procedure for medication refills
Prescriptions
For Medication Refills: All medication refills must be discussed with your Provider before requesting. Please ensure that you understand whether your medication is capable of being refilled without having an appointment with your Provider. For medications that are allowed to be refilled without an appointment, please use your patient portal. Requests made with this method will be managed within 48 hours on business days.
For Medication Samples: Providers are sometimes supplied with medication samples by the manufactor. These samples are dispensed by the Provider depending on their diagnosis and treatment plan. Patients will only be provided with a medication sample during an appointment with their Provider and will not be refilled with free samples due to limited supplies.
For Prior Authorizations: All prior authorizations requests are processed by our office within 2 business days. The insurance companies take up to 10 business days to process our request.
Directions To Refill Through Your Patient Portal

Login to your Patient Portal (You must be registered to access the portal. If you are not contact the office and provide your email address for registration).

Click on the “Prescriptions” button on the top menu bar.

Fins the medication in the list that you wish to have refilled.

Click on the “Refill” button next to the medication you wish to be considered for refilling.

The office will contact the patient via email, or phone regarding the successful refill or the need to have an appointment with their Provider first.

Management

Therapist
Referrals
Our board certified Nurse Practitioners work with a select group of well experienced Licensed Therapists in the Las Vegas area. Depending on the patient’s symptoms and goals, the patient and the Provider will determine if therapy could offer solutions to the current situation. Therapy can include individual, group or family for adults and children. Finding the right Licensed Therapist for your individual needs is very important. The Therapy referrals available at Mighty Mental Health will ensure that every available tool is being utilized to help reach each patient’s goal.
ADHD Testing and
Treatment
Our office offers both in office and online ADHD Testing for both children and adults. Our board certified Nurse Practitioners are trained to administer the tests and discuss the results with the patients and family. Testing is a great tool for Providers to use to help determine the best treatment plan for all patients. Our office uses the state of the art software created by QbCheck to help diagnose and track our ADHD patients.
