Mighty Mental Health’s providers are Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners who have extensive knowledge in the best and safest medications for each patient’s illness and goals. Our clinicians utilize an approach that incorporates in depth knowledge of how pre-existing medical conditions can influence and trigger psychiatric symptoms. Medications are only prescribed when a condition requires it and the patient agrees to the treatment plan.

ADHD
Testing
Mighty Mental Health provides diagnosis and treatment for ADHD in children from ages 8-17 and for ADD in adults over 18 years of age. Our Providers have been trained in the treatment of these conditions and receive continuing education yearly. Our office is outfitted with the best FDA approved computer testing available from QbTech for ADHD. The software created by QbTech allows our Providers to examine test results and discuss the implications with the patient. Best of all, this test can be administered in our office or over a laptop computer via Telehealth.

Referals
All of the Providers at Mighty Mental Health agree that psychotherapy is a vital tool used in a patient’s treatment plan. Our office works with a select group of licensed Therapists in the Las Vegas area. All of the licensed therapists are trained in a variety of therapeutic approaches for all ages. If a patient has a current Therapist they wish to utilize, our Providers will work with them hand in hand. However, Therapist referrals are always available from Mighty Mental Health.

At Mighty Mental Health, our board certified Nurse Practitioners focus exclusively on our client’s mental well-being and work with their primary care physicians, therapists and family in providing stability and care. We are a mental health clinic in Las Vegas, Nevada, dedicated to helping patients find stability and compassionate care.
Our practice offers Nurse Practitioners, board certified in general psychiatry, addiction, and child psychiatry. Based in Las Vegas, Summerlin, and Henderson, Nevada, our skilled team includes Psychiatrists, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, and psychotherapists. They provide a variety of services to meet the needs of all clients through their lifespan, beginning at age eight.
We treat an array of disorders and have flexible day, evening and weekend hours to accommodate our clients. Plus we offer the convenience of Telehealth appointments. This enables clients to meet with their provider from the comfort of their home or on the go via their cell phone.
Our online Patient Portal also allows patients to send or receive paperwork and lab results or to request prescription refills or future appointments. No longer do you need to sit on hold to ask your provider a question.

One of the things I appreciate most is that she truly listens. That’s surprisingly hard to find in a psychiatrist. I have Borderline Personality Disorder along with other mental health challenges, and not once has Barbra made me feel judged, dismissed, or less than because of my diagnosis. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience with many providers in the past. She approaches every conversation with compassion, understanding, and respect.
She has also been wonderful with my child. As a parent, making decisions about mental health treatment—especially medication for a young child—can be incredibly difficult and emotional. Barbra never pressures or dismisses concerns. Instead, she takes the time to listen, answer questions, and work through concerns together. She approaches my child with patience, understanding, and genuine care.
