The Providers at Mighty Mental Health have the ability to provide patients with prescription medication if their symptoms and conditions signal that their use would provide benefits to the patient.  However, each patient will be given the opportunity to express their desires and concerns with their Provider before any treatment plan is begun.  Below is a list of commonly prescribed medications for the treatment of psychiatric conditions.  Please utilize the list and related medication information to help educate yourself on the possible benefits and outcomes for each medication. While each patient is involved in deciding their treatment plan, the final decision on whether or not to prescribe a certain medication will always lay with the Provider.  Further, many health insurance plans do require prior authorization before a prescription is written, along with certain medications being tried first.
